What to expect

The Palais de la Découverte is located in the west wing of another leading Parisian institution, the Grand Palais. This vast establishment is entirely dedicated to the scientific heritage but also to the study of life in all its forms. Along the way, you will discover rooms devoted to chemistry, mathematics, astronomy, digital or life sciences. The latter is one of the most popular because it focuses mainly on animal communication. It is this combination of knowledge and experience that makes the Palais de la Découverte a success. Some rooms are even organized like a real police investigation, inviting the visitor to solve an enigma. If its permanent collections are very popular, it is the temporary exhibitions at the Discovery Palace that attract crowds to this great Parisian museum.
