What to expect

The basilica of Saint-Denis is a unique site, which allows you to embrace several centuries of history of the French monarchy. Located on the outskirts of Paris, this superb Gothic building - the first of its kind - contains the tombs of many of the crowned heads of French history: 43 kings and 32 queens lie in its crypt for eternity, from the well-known King Dagobert to Louis-Philippe, the last king of France, under the carved gisants with moving care. Inside the church, the atmosphere gathered and far from the hustle and bustle of the Parisian monuments will offer you a real moment of spirituality.

Impeccable mais parfois non nécessaire.
Published over a year ago
