What to expect
After more than six years of work, the prestigious Musée de l' Homme finally reopened its doors in 2015 and welcomes you back to the Palais de Chaillot for an unforgettable discovery of the first moments of humanity. Located in Paris and facing the Eiffel Tower, the Musée de l' Homme houses a unique collection of more than 500,000 pieces, including a large number of prehistoric fossils, but also invaluable objects testifying to the artistic sensitivity and nascent culture of Cro-Magnon and Neanderthal man.
In the museum's galleries, you will discover moving testimonies from the most remote periods of human memory: the first anthropological busts, reproductions of cave paintings and other prehistoric works of art will forever change your relationship with human history.
