What to expect
A major witness to our history and a symbol of our culture, the automobile fascinates. Housed in a former textile factory in Mulhouse, the Cité de l’Automobile offers you the chance to discover one of the most stunning car collections in the world. Spanning over 25,000 square meters, it features nearly 400 historic vehicles, including race cars and exceptional automobiles. Rolls Royce, Bugatti Royale, Porsche, or Ferrari: the extraordinary richness of the Schlumpf collection will captivate both car enthusiasts and others!
Divided into several thematic areas, the museum's layout allows you to trace the history of vehicles through a thematic approach. Throughout the year, the museum also offers numerous interactive activities designed to spark wonder in children. To help you navigate the museum quickly and get a first glimpse of the exhibits, you can also take a ride on a small electric train.
