What to expect
A major witness to our history and symbol of our culture, the automobile fascinates. Installed in a former Mulhouse spinning mill, the Cité de l'Automobile will allow you to discover one of the most beautiful collections of cars in the world. On more than 25 000 m2, nearly 400 historic vehicles, racing cars and exceptional cars will be presented. Rolls Royce, Bugatti Royale, Porsche or Ferrari: the exceptional richness of the Schlumpf collection will seduce lovers of beautiful mechanics as well as others!
Distinguishing several thematic spaces, the museography of the Cité de l'Automobile will allow you to retrace the history of vehicles in a thematic approach. Throughout the year, the museum also offers many interactive activities, designed to amaze children. To give you a quick tour of the museum and a first impression of the visit, you can also board a small electric train.
