Monkey Mountain
What to expect
If you dream of seeing monkeys in the wild without planning a major trip, you’ll be thrilled by Monkey Mountain in Kintzheim. Since the 1970s, scientists have been studying and protecting around 200 Barbary macaques in a stunning 24-hectare park open to visitors. In this park, you can observe them in their natural habitat and experience the excitement of approaching them or sitting beside them. You can also attend feeding sessions in exceptional conditions or join family-friendly treasure hunts following the tracks of these North African monkeys.
