Perched on a rocky peak, the Benedictine abbey of Montmajour offers a sumptuous panoramic view of the Pays d' Arles. It houses eight centuries of religious history in its Romanesque, Gothic and classical buildings. Your tickets bought on Coupe-File. com, valid at any time of the day, will allow you to contemplate the cloister's sculptures representing a beast. They will allow you to feel an unspeakable spiritual emotion in its chapels and its troglodyte necropolis. On the occasion of the Rencontres de la photographie d' Arles which take place every summer from July to September, the abbey hosts exhibitions of contemporary artists who, like Van Gogh in his time, love this grandiose and austere setting.

Closed: Mondays from October 1st to March 31st, January 1st, May 1st, November 1st, November 11th and December 25th.
From 26 June to 1 July 2018 inclusive, the monument will be exceptionally closed for construction works.
