From July 12th to October 15th, 2018, this unique museum houses Régis Mathieu's collection, which has acquired many exceptional models over the past thirty years. The Museum is open every day (except December 25th)
From January 1st to 7th : from 10am to 5pm
From January 8th to February 9th : week from 1pm to 5pm / weekends from 10am to 5pm
From February 10th to March 30th : from 10am to 5pm
From March 31st to November 4th : from 10am to 6pm
From November 5 to January 6, 2019 : from 10 am to 5 pm
- Last entrance 30 minutes before closing time.
- An audioguide is given to you free of charge on your arrival at the Museum. It offers the commentary of 250 cars in the collection. Available in 6 languages: French, English, German, Italian, Spanish and Dutch.

Discover the history of the automobile through 3 great periods; the premises of the automobile and the advent of the engine from 1885 to 1905, the Golden Age of the automobile from 1905 to 1939 and the automobile for all from 1945 to 1970.
Getting to the Cité de l'Automobile
The Cité de l'Automobile is located 5 minutes from Mulhouse city centre, 20 minutes from Colmar and Basel, 30 minutes from Belfort and 1 hour from Strasbourg.
By car: A35 and A36 motorways, Mulhouse Centre exit. Entrance at 15 rue de l'épée. The Cité de l'Automobile has a large paid car park.
By train: TGV Est, Mulhouse station.
By tramway: line 1, stop "Musée de l'Auto".
