The first images that come to mind when one evokes
Normandy are the charming green and hilly bocage, half-timbered houses, peaceful cows and dozens of tasty cheeses. But the list certainly doesn't stop there because we have to add little jewels like
Mont Saint-Michel, the small village of Honfleur, the cliffs of Etretat or the cathedral of Caen. And finally, how can we not evoke a whole section of the history of France that was played in Normandy, from the Bayeux tapestry to the long beaches made famous by the Allied landing? Normandy is all this at once.
