The Aquarium La Rochelle is one of the largest private aquariums in Europe. During your visit, the itinerary consists of several themes: Atlantic, Mediterranean, Medusa and Oceanic, Caribbean, Indo-Pacific, sharks, turtles, tropical forest, children's trip and the gallery of lights.
You will encounter blacktip sharks, jellyfish, clown fish, turtles, seahorses... more than 12,000 marine species all surprising each other.
For children, signs are specially designed with small drawings and other educational games.
Aquarium La Rochelle is ideally located in the centre of the city, facing the Old Port. Not far from there, you will find the La Rochelle Towers, breathtaking medieval fortifications not to be missed.
