Activities in
Aix-en-Provence
A popular destination for visitors to the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region, Aix-en-Provence enjoys sunny weather and boasts a particularly rich historical and artistic heritage. As you wander through the small cobbled streets of the city center, you can imagine the paintings of Paul Cézanne, who lovingly portrayed Montagne Sainte-Victoire many times, and the novels of Emile Zola, both natives of Aix. Renowned for its ancient and medieval remains, this city in the Bouches-du-Rhône region is home to numerous museums, the most famous of which is certainly the Musée Granet, particularly rich in Flemish Golden Age paintings and works by Jean-Dominique Ingres. Other must-see sites include the Musée des Tapisseries and the Mémorial des Milles, a World War II internment camp. Ticketeaser allows art and history lovers to easily access all these landmarks in the region.
