What to expect
Just three kilometres from the centre of Aix-en-Provence, the striking forms of a unique modernist building sparkle under blue skies. Designed by the godfather of op art
Victor Vaserley in the 1970s, and named as a historic monument in 2013, the so-called "Polychrome City of Happiness" comprises a geometric array of 16 hexagonal modules in anodised aluminium, punctuated by circles and squares. With your
Ticketeaser ticket, you can enter into Vaserley's lumino-kinetic sphere and marvel at the trompe l'oeil and the games of light and shadow devised by Vaserley himself. The
Vaserley Foundation is open 365 days a year and, in addition to its temporary exhibitions, there are treasure hunts and creative workshops for children. On Sundays, the Foundation offers special family discovery tours.
Opening hours
The Vasarely Foundation is open every day from 10am to 6pm, including public holidays.
