What to expect

The Château de Villandry is the last castle of the Renaissance period built on the banks of the Loire River. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the estate is distinguished by the aesthetics and diversity of its gardens spaced over three levels. Discover all the beauty and richness of this jewel of French heritage. Wander with delight in the chateau's vast, harmonious and colourful gardens and enjoy the music of birds singing from plant paintings to authentic plants and the soothing sound of fountains inviting you to daydream. Enjoy the castle's vegetable garden, subtly mixing vegetables and remarkable flowers.

From Paris Approx. 240 km : take the TGV between Paris (Montparnasse station) and Tours (Saint-Pierre-des-Corps station), then the taxi (about 20 minutes) or the shuttle "Fil Vert" every day in July and August.
