During the days of the Musical fountain shows and Musical garden days, access to the gardens is free only for children under 6 years old.

|Getting to the Palace of Versailles|
|RER line C ou SNCF trains||RER line C : The RER C arrives at the railway station of Versailles Château Rive Gauche, 10 minutes walk to the Château.
By train :
- From Paris Montparnasse station, the SNCF trains arrive at the train station of Versailles Chantiers, 18 minutes walk to the Château.
- From Paris Saint Lazare train station, the trains SNCF arrive at the station Versailles Rive Droite, 17 minutes walk to arrive at the Palace.
By bus : The bus no. 171 from the RATP runs its circuit between the Pont de Sèvres (terminus of line 9 of the Métro) and the Château de Versailles in 30 minutes without traffic.

Access : From the A13 motorway, exit n°5 Versailles Centre and follow the signs for the Château de Versailles. GPS coordinates of the Palace of Versailles : 48°48’17N et 2°07’15E
Parking : There are several paid car parks in front of the Castle: Place d' Armes cars and coaches - open 24 hours a day.
In the Park : Grand Canal, Petit Trianon, Grand Trianon, Hamlet of the Queen (Coaches only at the Carrefour des Trianon) – access by Queen's Gate, open for vehicles from 9am to 4.50pm or 5.50pm (depending on low or high season).
