What to expect

During the medieval period, abbeys and monasteries were prominent creative centres. Located in the department of Saône-et-Loire, between Lyon and Dijon, the Abbey of Cluny was long considered to be the most powerful monastic community in France. This abbey, which was largely destroyed during the Revolution, was founded more than a thousand years ago and still holds many wonders that will dazzle the visitor. The sculpted capitals, the richly illuminated manuscripts and the harmony of the facades reflect the richness but also a taste for art in religious communities from the tenth to the twelfth century. To avoid waiting at the entrance of the site, remember to book your tickets online on Coupe-File. com and receive immediate confirmation of your reservation.

L'abbaye de Cluny est un lieu incontournable chargé d'histoire en Bourgogne, même s'il ne reste que des ruines. Réservation rapide sur le site. La ville est très agréable.
